APTAA – Asansol Polytechnic Alumni Association formed to unite all students of Asansol Polytechnic, South Dhadka, Asansol, India, 713302.  And APTAA Started officially from the year 2022. The main purpose of this association is to promote spirit of loyalty, keeping up the emotions and attachment of collage life, strengthening the bond between alumni, with a vision to maintain life-long connection and the general welfare to Asansol Polytechnic students. This association shall help all students to be exposed to greater career opportunities.  APTAA shall undertake the following   

(i) intellectual, academic and cultural activities

(ii) sports and games

(iii) entertainment programs

(iv) improvements to existing infrastructure of the College and.

(v) social service etc.

APTAA is for the benefit of the Members as also of the College and for the society at large, as detailed under:

a. The website www.aptaa.in is belongs to this Association and shall up load the same on to the Internet so that relevant information pertaining to the affairs of the Association, can be made available for the benefit of all the Members.

b. APTAA to conduct academic meets such as conferences, workshops,

seminars, symposia , lectures by eminent personalities from various

walks of life etc. for the Members as also for the present students and/or

teachers of the College on various current subjects/topics of interest and

relevance

c. APTAA shall introduce awards / prizes, for the meritorious students of the

College in the fields of academics, sports and other extra curricular

activities.

d. APTAA shall undertake activities such as career counseling , medical check up

camps and other similar programs for the benefit of the present students

of the College

e. APTAA shall establish merit cum means based scholarships for the needy and deserving students of the College

f. APTAA shall mobilize donations from the Members and others for charitable

purposes for the benefit of citizens of this country in the event of natural

calamities like earthquake, flood etc

g. to establish permanent Corpus Fund for providing need based

financial assistance to the Members as also the present students of the

College for the treatment diseases and ailments.

h. to publish magazines and newsletters highlighting the activities and

achievements of the Association.

i. to conduct , for the Members , various activities such as get-togethers,

sports and games, picnics, excursions, cultural programmes, etc.

 

Moreover APTAA shall enable all students to dream big and will keep all students as connected as life –time with memory of the most valuable time in their life,  they spend  during study at Asansol Polytechnic.    

 

 

Asansol Polytechnic: - is a government polytechnic located in Asansol, Paschim Bardhaman district, West Bengal. This polytechnic is affiliated to the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (W.B.S.C.T.E), and recognised by AICTE, New Delhi. Asansol Polytechnic is one of the oldest polytechnics in west Bengal with very good Lab and other infrastructure.This polytechnic offers diploma courses in Mining , Mine Surveying, Metallurgical, Civil , Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

This is the first government polytechnic institute in Asansol. The main motto of the institution is to create quality engineers. This institution is known for its friendly relationship between teachers and students.
